Ms Ferreira has over 12 years of experience developing human rights and peace education and facilitating training programs, dialogues and consultations with faith actors, educators, youth and adults in interreligious contexts in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribe and the Middle East, managing programs, facilitating processes and fostering its sustainable implementation and scaling up. Preceding her engagement with KAICIID, Ms Ferreira served as Head of Programmes at Arigatou International and as Secretary General of the International Movement of Apostolate of Children, managing educational grassroots projects for children all over the world in citizenship education. Vera holds a degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources specialising in Training Management.
