Getting to Know KAICIID’s Transformative Dialogue Work (optional)
Description: At the first evening of the KAICIID Global Dialogue Forum, participants are offered an informal but engaging introduction to KAICIID’s work around the world. Set in a cozy environment around the dining room, participants are encouraged to explore different themes reflecting the critical issues addressed by KAICIID and the work in different regions, including its Transformative Dialogue approach. This informal session aims to foster understanding and dialogue about KAICIID’s contribution to promoting peace through interreligious dialogue, providing a welcoming and informative experience for participants.

Description: The Opening Plenary of the KAICIID Global Dialogue Forum 2024 serves as the cornerstone of showing human dignity through transformative dialogue to bring about positive change. This session brings together global voices in a unified commitment to inclusivity and peace, setting the stage for a series of discussions on critical themes like peacebuilding, inclusive cities and sacred ecology throughout the two days. The session will spotlight the significant contributions religious and faith leaders can make in bridging divides and fostering a collective commitment to sustainable peace. Through this conversation, the importance of unity and dialogue as well as community healing will be brought to the fore.
