Miriam Coronel Ferrer

Miriam Coronel Ferrer is a prominent figure in peace mediation, renowned for her pivotal role in negotiating the 2014 Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) as head of the government panel. A retired professor from the University of the Philippines (UP), she has held key positions within UP's academic and peace-focused programs.  Ferrer's influence extends globally as she sits on various boards, including the International Crisis Group and Interpeace. Recognized for her contributions, she has been honored with prestigious awards such as the 2023 Ramon Magsaysay Award and the 2015 Hilary Rodham Clinton Award.
